Making the B.H.S. Observer is no small task.

The paper is made from a template which was designed for our first ever edition. This template was ten pages long as that was the original size of the paper. But as time progressed it became clear that we could increase it to sixteen pages. This allowed more space for contributions.

The main role the Editorial Team takes is the putting together of the paper and administration. The rest of the work is done by our team of contributors who keep the paper running.

The editing of the paper is done as contributions come in. But obviously this is not enough so a few days before publication the paper is scrutinised by the editors. This is done by looking first at how it looks, then checking grammar and spelling.

After the paper has the thumbs up from the editors it is sent to be published. The paper is published internally by the school.

Lastly, the paper is sold. On average we sell about 60 copies.
